Sonoma County Legal Defense Fund (SCLDF)

SCLDF was created in 2020 to ensure that Sonoma County community members and residents are able to afford the necessary aspects of effective legal defense on an emergency basis. SCLDF is a critical tool to prevent incarceration and combat racial and economic disparities in the bail system — they are committed to long-term relationship building and organizing with people most directly impacted by criminalization and policing.

We accomplish this through medical and behavioral health care, health navigation, workforce enterprises, housing, outreach, and advocacy.

CALIFORNIA DONATION FUNDS

Jackie for State Senate: Support the candidate challenging Scott Wiener for California State Senate seat. She has worked in police accountability & released a 10 point platform outlining a strategy for police reform and defunding.

NATIONAL DONATION FUNDS

  • Campaign Zero: funds donated to Campaign Zero support the analysis of policing practices across the country, research to identify effective solutions to end police violence, technical assistance to organizers leading police accountability campaigns and the development of model legislation and advocacy to end police violence nationwide.
